Overlap Attachment

I have been a DYI painter for over 45 years, and I have to to tell you I was skeptical at best when I saw the Masking Master advertised. We all know how tedious and difficult masking baseboard and ceiling molding can be. I tried the Masking Master and was really impressed. I did both my baseboard and my ceiling crown molding and it worked great on both. The baseboard was easier because I could do it all in one run. The ceiling was a little more effort as I could only do arms length, cut it, and then overlap the tape on the ceiling molding, for another arms length. I was worried that the ceiling wouldn’t come out as nice, but again I was presently surprised. I use the green multi surface Frog Tape, .94 inch which creates a great seal. I was worried there might be a thin layer of paint on the molding, but it came out clean. I would highly recommend this product and it was easy to use and made it faster to tape the job. My only suggestion would be to make a Masking Master that can handle wider tapes.
